I saw this on the news last night and got so upset. I think someone will step up to pay for this dog. Why cant one of the vets just do it?? Will they j ust let him die because no one will pay for it?
They're hoping for donations. I called the vet where the dog is (happens to be Cooper's vet as well) and they are taking donations over the phone and via mail and so is Save-A-Pet.

i just saw that today on the news when they announced his passing. I could not stop crying. Things like this just make me sick to my stomache, i have always had pets and i have always felt they are a HUGE part of our family, .....how any person could do this is beyond me. People are severly sick if they think that this is ok!!! i feel so terrible for that poor dog and how he had to suffer, and the fact that he was still super sweet and responded hapily to all the people around him after someone had done that to him just makes it more upsetting. animals are so trusting and helpless.. people just S U C K!!!! :(
