FH and I saw that on the news last night and my fh got sooo upset. We are big animal lovers so it was sooo sad. People are frigin crazy and if someone can do something like that to an animal just think what they are capable of

When I was in hs for an elective I took an animal science class at this boces school my junior and senior year. One year we had to watch this video of puppy mills. The conditions of these animals is horrifying. like 10dogs are kept in tiny little cages and they have sores and are sick and dogs they cant sell they shoot and throw in a big hole in the woods. It was horrifying. A lot of pet stores buy puppies from these mills thats how these mills stay in business. It's sooo sad I hate it.

I saw this on the news last night and got so upset. I think someone will step up to pay for this dog. Why cant one of the vets just do it?? Will they j ust let him die because no one will pay for it?

I don’t think so…from my understanding, shelters and vets always do everything they can in these situations. However, they need donations to help cover the expenses they’re gonna incur.

Is it wrong that I get more upset when I see animals being mistreated than people? They're just so defenseless. I have more animals living in my house than people b/c I have such a soft spot for them!

I heard about that on News 12.....it seriously SICKENS me to my stomach. How can someone do anything like that to a living breathing animal. People seriously need effin psychological HELP.

I actually feel sick to my stomach...intentionally hurting an animal is one of the worst things a person can do...they are defenseless the same way in which a child is...I feel so angray/sad

No, I often feel the same way…it’s like when you watch a disaster movie or something and hundreds of people die, but if a cat or dog dies, it’s just that much more devasting. I think it’s because they are so innocent and so helpless—they depend fully on us, which is why I get so upset when we let them down!

Okay...I wanted to say the same thing and thought I's piss someone off...I 100% agree with you. Ive always been like this...I think it has to do with how defenseless and loyal they are...pure innocence...thanks for sharing those feelings

I think what make it worse is like…what exactly could the dog have done to deserve that? With people and crimes, there’s usually an explanation or background story (or maybe I just watch too much Law and Order!)

couldn't agree with you more...people can annoy you, hurt you, etc...but animals just don't...I always say that my dog is the one thing that I can come home to that can change a crappy day into a good one...it's so nice to know others share these feelings

I just read about that in the newspaper! How could someone be able to do that to an animal and feel that they didnt do anything wrong?? That poor poor dog! And it said in the newspaper that although he has all of those injuries he still tries to wag his tail when someone comes in his room!
