NWR: something to make a note about...

NEVER MOVE DURING THE HOLIDAYS...

So, I was trying to be a good little Santa's helper and wrap some gifts considering the next week or so is going to be quite hectic...

SO...

I find the scissors... no problem...

so then i try to find tape (regular scotch tape, not the large packing tape we have strewn around the house...)

I go into the secretary where it usually is. empty. I look in mom's dresser drawers where she usually has some during the holidays. Nothing. I go downstairs to step-father's office. Nothing.

Thank god I currently live down the street from a CVS...

So, in conclusion. Don't do it. Do everything in your power not to move during the holidays. In addition to not being able to find gift wrapping necessities... there is NO ROOM to gift wrap as our floor is covered in boxes... I have managed to clear a small spot in front of the television (which will likely be the last thing to be moved if my step-father has any say in it )

I will now go and use my newly purchased tape to wrap gifts that don't require boxes. While we do have plenty of those, most are innapropriate for sweaters, etc.

Hopefully everything will make it to east setauket unscathed. have a pleasant day.

maybe when your parents move, instead of having CVS as a top priority,,, they should move down the block from a mental ward.... this was they can see you whenever they want

Yes, I was originally planniing on moving in with FH now, thank God I started to do it in August and completed it in September.

I'm sorry but it will all be over soon.
