Finally was offered a job that's not part time! A bit sad that it is out-of-state, so it'll make wedding coordination harder. However, I am SUPER glad for the extra income! FH and I were relying on his paycheck & my FMIL's generous (2/3 of the total budget!!) gift/donation to us. I would have felt (and was feeling) immensely guilty every time FMIL expressed an opinion that I disliked and nixed.
BUUUUUT, now that I have a real job again, it'll tip things in my favor, and I likely won't take THAT much $$$ from FMIL anymore. Had to share it with you girls, who would likely understand more than my single friends about how good it feels to not be worried about paying for your dream wedding.
So, should I stay with the same budget as before, or should blow our now extra cash on something big??? A real diamond monogram cake topper?

COngrats on the job, I would say stay with your budget, you will be happy with the money in your bank, and the less stress if a new wedding bill hits!

Congrats!!! That is great news. I would stick to your budget and then wait until its closer to the wedding to see if you wanna spend the extra cash!

Stick to the budget but if there was something you were on the fence that you wanted vs a need then splurge!! Congrats on the job!!

Congrats on getting the job. I wouldnt push the budget anymore than you have already set, unless it's for something you absolutly loved but coulnd't afford before. Or a small upgarde that wasn't in budget before. By sticking as close to your budget as possible the less stress (and less bills!)
