NWR: Spa day tomorrow, getting my first facial and I'm scared!
So for the holidays my mom got me a spa day at Bliss in SoHo. I am getting a massage (yay!), body wrap and facial. This is my first facial and I'm really nervous because I've heard that they can be painful??? is this true, how painful? Is it relaxing at all? Is my face going to be red and blotchy after? I'm soo nervous!

no, that's fun!!!! facials are nice. most of them are relaxing. sometimes they dig at your pores, and that part hurts....but it's only a small part of the experience, and if you really don't like it, you can ask them not to and just enjoy the fun parts!!!

Bliss Soho is amaaaaazing!! I had my first facial there too! It's great, you get undressed and get in this heated bed while they work on your face. IT's not painful, I guess it depends on your skin though. They'll massage your arms and legs and feet too, so be prepared! Its SUPER relaxing. You'll love it. Enjoy and unwind. I just love the lavendar smell in that place, its amazing.
ETA - visit the website beforehand and educate yourself on the cost of the various add-ons because they will try and sell them to you during your facial. It helps to have an idea how much they cost so you can do the math in your head. GL!!
