I posted a week ago about my dog Sparky who was not going to make it. Well last night he had a turn for the worst. I won't go into detail because it is just so horrible! I called my FH and he came right over. We brought him to a 24hr vet and they gave him a shot. Then I bundled him up and brought him home. It was the most heart wrenching experience! I drove to my dad's this morning so my dad could bury him. My dad made a beautiful box for him.

I just stopped crying about an hour ago. I feel so miserable and lonely. The house is so empty without Sparky. I feel like I can hear his collar jingle and a whimper sometimes.

I miss him so much!!!!!! I know that I did the right thing though because he was suffering. He was close to 18 years old and wasn't all there in his last days.

There is no feeling like that of losing it pet. My dog Shakie died in my arms, and he was only 5. This was more than 5 years ago and I still miss him so much.

I am so sorry, you must be heartbroken, but it's not fair to have him suffer either. I wish you the best.

I am so sorry to hear that!

My cat, DJ, who was 21 years old died last month (not the cat in my avitar). I was so depressed and unable to function for days. My heart goes out to you!
