Re: NWR: Spinoff to Broadway Shows

I have to think about this one. I've seen a lot.

Jeckyll & Hyde (4 times) - My Favorite
Les Miserables (3 times)
Miss Saigon
Wicked (2 times)
The Scarlet Pimpernel
Cats (3 times)
Avenue Q (2 times)
Jersey Boys (2 times)
Phantom of the Opera
Spamalot
Equus
Chicago (2 times)
Rent (2 or 3 times)
Beauty and the Beast
The Lion King
Tarzan
Lestat
Curtains
The Producers
Grease

If I think of more I'll edit. Some of the best, I've seen more than once as you can see. But my top three are Jeckyll & Hyde, Les Mis, & Miss Saigon. Wicked, Rent, and Jersey Boys come in close after that.

* Edited b/c I thought of more.

My FAV part of Mary Poppins wasn't included in the show (the dancing penguins and the horse race. OH AND jumping into the chalk drawing lol).
I never saw young frankenstein so i thought it was great. I almost peed my pants! FH is obsessed with the movie and he liked it.

I also didn't like the little mermaid that much. They totally left out the last 15 min of the movie! lol

=( I've only seen a few.

Aida
Beauty & The Beast
The Lion King

Does the Radio City Christmas Spectacular count.

FH and I wanted to see one show for each occassion (bdays or holidays) but with the wedding and everything we decided to save the money and not go.

Re: NWR: Spinoff to Broadway Shows

I have seen a CRAPLOAD of shows.
There is no way that I could possibly list them all.

My all time favorites are Hedwig & The Angry Inch (off broadway) & Ragtime (nervous about the revival).

Just so you know, there's a one-night only performance of Hedwig on 10/28 @ New World Stages. It's $50 a ticket and the proceeds go towards Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
