NWR: Starting a Family?

Just curious... Are any of you planning on starting a family right after the wedding? I am personally not but one of my friends is ... I kinda thought most people didnt ... but I might be wrong... what are you gals planning?

We are planning to wait until our one year anniversary before we try and start a family. We want to be able to enjoy time together as a married couple. Plus I would like to be more financially set (maybe a house) before we have a baby.

right after the wedding we will stop preventing it-- we won't try try- until a year after

We're not going to start right away but I do want children before I'm 30 and I'm getting married when I'm 25. We're not really going to 'try' to get pregnant though. We decided that on our 1 year anniversary I'm going to stop taking my pill and whenever it happens it happens!

I think we just did on our trip, LMFAO !!!!! Just playin, even though his parents told me I should have one before the wedding cause they want grand kids . We think that we wanna wait to enjoy life as a married couple first!!!

We will probably wait about 2 years after getting married. FH and I don't live with each other right now, so we want some time just to enjoy being married.

We want to wait one year after we get married...
But if God wants to give us a honeymoon baby.. Then she/he will be WELCOME!

We are going to try right after the wedding! We have been together 5 years, 6.5 by the wedding, and we already live together so it's time!!! I'll be 30 when we get married so i don't want to wait a minute!!! :)

We want to wait around 2 years or so before we start to have children. We'd like to have a house (or a bigger apartment) first, and both be in stable careers where we would be able to take maternity/paternity leave. So I'm hoping around 26-27 I'll be preggers

My FH wants to start pretty soon after the wedding. Im thinking of waiting a year. I'll be 28 when I get married and FH will be almost 31. He wants kids before he is 35 so we probably wont wait too long

we are starting on March 26th. I want to have at least my first baby before Im 30. Ill be 29 in april and Kim is Def not getting any younger and neither is FH since he'll be 29 in Dec.

We originally said we wanted to wait a year or two.. but as of recent, it seems like it will be sooner than later.

wow... i guess an overwhelming amount of people are waiting at least a year ... but its cute to hear that some of you are excited for that chapter to start immediately!

we are trying as soon as we get back from the honeymoon. I wanted to be pregos like yesterday but yeah we are ready.

FH and I are probably going to wait and enjoy some peace and quiet for at least a year or two before we have kids - no rush for now

FH and I are both getting married at 25 and we are both still in med school...i would like to have a baby before my first year of residency but that would mean starting under a year of being married...more likely, we will wait about 3 years.

Definately no kids for a couple of years....I am only 25 and want to enjoy married life as well as lots of traveling. Most of my friends are having kids and I know how exhausting and life altering that experience is. I def wanna wait.
