Just curious... Are any of you planning on starting a family right after the wedding? I am personally not but one of my friends is ... I kinda thought most people didnt ... but I might be wrong... what are you gals planning?

we have mixed feelings....I wanna stop preventing after the wedding and when it happens it happens ya know but he want to wait a year then try....so idk whats gunna happen...probably a year after the wedding

We're planning on waiting 3-4 years before trying to have a baby. I want to be settled in my career, we want to be in a house, travel -which is really hard with a new baby and most of all we wanna enjoy being married for a little while. My brother and sister in law just had a baby and i see how stressed they get and the strain it can sometimes put on your relationship. I cant imagine dealing with that so soon after getting married.

I think we just did on our trip, LMFAO !!!!! Just playin, even though his parents told me I should have one before the wedding cause they want grand kids. We think that we wanna wait to enjoy life as a married couple first!!!

FH is dying to have kids!!! lol his biological clock has been tick tocking for a few years already.
He wants to try right away, I kind of do too but also kind of want to enjoy that summer as newly weds. I want to partake in the beer and parties!

We really have no interest in starting a family right away. We know we want kids down the line, but want to be married for at least 4 years before we start trying. I'm only going to be 25 when we get married, so I think we have PLENTY of time. We won't start living together until we are married so I want plenty of alone time with my FH. I'm selfish!

well Im definitely in the minority, but I don't think we will have kids. At all. I'm already almost 30, my career doesn't allow me a lot of time to raise kids, and we are nowhere near financially secure enough. If FH decides that he really wants them in a few years, then I'll consider it, but I truly enjoy my life sans children. But more power to everyone who wants to start a family! I'm sure you will all be great mommies

we want to start right away.....i mean we've been living together for a while now, by the time the wedding come we'd be living toghether almost 2 years. I also need a reason to get out of his parents house.....its too small for a baby, so then we'd have to get a house too haha

I think it all depends on how old you are when you get married and how financially stable you are.

I'll be 27 when I get married & FH will be 28... FH and I will be together 6 years on our wedding day. We live together already but we want to travel, save money, and enjoy each other. We figured we'll have kids at about 30 or so. We have our whole lives to be parents.. we want to live it up at newlyweds :)

We are going to start trying after the first year. I am getting married when I'm 29 so that means my first kid will be when i'm 30. Thats about right.
