Here's my stubhub story....My daughter wanted to get her and her dad tickets to a yankee game so I used stub hub and got a great deal so I thought. While ordering it I used my name and info. for the billing and then it asked who to mail the tkts to so I put my daughters name in she was 14yrs old. Okay so one day Im at work and my husband calls screaming because they called here and asked for my daughter and asked her if it was okay to switch the tickets to like 10 rows up from the original seats. My daughter being and sounding 14 said okay(mind you no price adjustment either. So my husband calls back within 5min and explains to the them that they just spoke to a little kid which shouldve been obvious and they basically told him too bad so said she already agreed to it!! He spoke to what was supposed to be managers and they apparently were just passing the phone around. I call when I get home and explain again that if this is the case then just refund my money and I'll send the tkts back that I already received. They tell me no deal the guy eventually starts screaming and cursing at me on the phone. I call back like 100 times and I would be put on hold and no one will pick up on my call. PS they go to the game with both sets of tickets and they tell my husband at the gate that stubhub had no right to sell the first set because for some reason the ball club blocked out those seats where stubhub said it was because the seller sold the tickets twice! I will NEVER use them for anything again! Although I just read an article that MLB has linked with Stubhub for the future. Apparently when you try to purchase tickets through say the Yankees website and there are none available it is going to redirect you to Stubhub. I hope you dont have the same problem we did.

What i've done for tix for years is ebay. I prefer that way - because you deal with real people & not some faceless company. You have to be very careful - but you can get really good deals. The main thing to be careful of is feedback.
I would never buy from anyone with less than 99.9% feedback & always read the feedback...
I've been purchasing pro sport tickets on ebay for more than 10 years now and have never once had a problem..

My brother in law bought DH tkts to a yankee game through ebay once and we were worried we would get to the stadium and be turned away so we brought extra money in case we had to buy tickets but they were fine. Stub hub sells alot of tkts on ebay though so watch out. I personally think that ebay is were Im gonna try from now on or just take my chances at the stadium. I can tell you though I will never use Stub Hub again just because they took advantage of talking to a 14yr old on the phone. I mean I know when Im talking to a child on the phone and even if you have the childs name as who to send the tkts to you have my name for the credit card info. so there's another flag there. They are just shady people in my opinion.

ebay is def the way to go!!! I've bought quite a few tix on there for various sporting events... never once had a problem.... but like another poster said, just be aware of their feedback #'s and you should be okay!

Re: NWR: Stubhub
Stubhub is fine. We get yankee tickets from there all the time, and concert tickets as well. The tickets are guaranteed so if for whatever reason there is something wrong with them, you're protected. They may make mistakes like any other customer service company, but they're a very legitimate company.

Re: NWR: Stubhub
They are really just glorified scalpers! You'll pay about 3 times what the ticket is worth.
