I know many people on here suggest 'doing a search' for a specific thread... exactly how do you do that??

Is it just the search box at the top right or is there somewhere else to specifically search the forums?

Don't use the search box in the top right. Click on the green button that says 'search' with the pic of the magnifying class...it's between 'logout (or login)' and 'help'. Good luck!
