NWR: summer

Anyone looking forward to it being over?

The warm weather is nice and everything but I have to say I'm looking forward to the cooler weather - also once the fall starts to kick in Fh and I are going to start shopping for vendors so that might have something to do with it lol

No no no...not me. I LOVE the warm weather and don't want summer to go any where. Especially since I haven't had much time to build my tan!!!! And with the end of summer comes the start of school.

I think you are just ready to do the whole vendor shopping. I say go in the warm weather to their air conditioned offices. What about that ???

Shall we shake on it??? Summer does not end until it is really time for it to end (and even then I won't be happy but can deal with it!!!)

I'm not looking foward to summer ending either for the same reason. This will be my first year teaching. I don't have a school or class yet though.. I sent out about 60 resumes in Queens and Manhattan but nothing as of yet. I got a commitment letter from the Board of Ed so i'm not worried, i know I'm guarenteed a job. Where do you teach?

I'm going into my 4th year at a public school in Brookyn

That is good that you got the commitment letter, you will be fine. I got hired at the end of august when i first started. Principals find out new info on budget and staff memebers leaving at any time in the summer.

Good Luck
