Not Wedding related but has anyone been to a concert at Summerstage in Central Park? I am debating buying tickets (this is not a free event) but I have some reservations about the general admission/no seats/ rain or shine, etc. Any good or bad experiences?
I've been there and had a fabulous time!! It was a year or two ago, we had BEAUTIFUL weather..it was a little crowded but wasn't crazy, just bring a blanket to mark your spot!
Thanks for the info! I've been told to get there early to secure a spot but otherwise I wasn't sure what to expect.
It depends who you're seeing. I saw John Mayer there in high school, and it was pouring, so he felt bad and played an extra set for us. I saw Dave Matthews too, a few years after that, and it was amazing. Then again, I love gen admission concerts and I don't mind a little rain for some good music.
