It's been a rough day ladies. We had to euthanize my cat, Sushi, at 7:30 this morning. She had pancreatitis about a year ago and since than has had issues with digestion and getting sick. There really was nothing we could do for it, just supportive care and she always seemed to bounce back. She just went downhill very quickly last night so I decided to take her to the emergency vet this morning. My friends got her for me 11 years ago as my Sweet 16 birthday present, she was such a good cat. My heart is very heavy right now, just could use some encouraging words.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know what you're going through. We had to put down my dog 11 years ago and I'm STILL not over it!
Some people never understand the pet bond.. but I do! We had to put our dog down the day after christmas 2011 and then FH and I lost our cat shortly after thankgiving this year :( Its so sad especially when they've grown up with you like Sushi did <3

I'm so sorry for your loss. Our pets become our family/our children and its so hard to make the decision. Try to remember the good times with Sushi and hope that will ease your pain.

I'm so sorry to hear about Sushi. Losing a pet is losing a member of your family. Because of her awesome owner, she had a wonderful life full of love and comfort & she's not suffering anymore. Hang in there

So sorry to hear :( it is never easy to lose a pet they become a part of your family and your heart. Just try and take comfort in the fact she is not suffering anymore that she is at peace. Each day will get a little easier even though you will never forget her. Hang in there.
