Is anyone else freaking out about the ELA's tomorrow??? I just can't stand that fact that if one of my third graders has a bad day they will have to repeat the grade.

but there is also an appeals process that the parents can utilize if they and the school agree that the students performance during the year justifies promotion

Unfortunately they really don't budge where I am. They give them the option to go to summer school, that's all. At least that's the way it is for 3rd and 5th grade.
