NWR: Teachers

Hi guys
I am switching schools and going to a 7/8 grade special education class in Rockaway Beach. I need some good ideas for bulletin boards. I don't want anything too cheesy but I want it to look nice and welcoming. Also wondering about what I should have in a welcome letter. I'm in a 12:1 class, so theres only 12 students. Any ideas?

TIA!
