Anyone out there a teacher? If so....do you know of any potential jobs in your district next year? I feel like everyone is excessing and I haven't heard of many openings. I really need a job!! I've been teaching for 3 years and just got excessed. Of course they do it now while I'm in the middle of planning a wedding. I teach secondary math or business. If anyone out there hears of anything I would really appreciate a heads up! Thanks so much!

One of the license officer's from DOE told me that it's true in regards to most any school. You should look into TEACH NYC facebook, that's where you can find most of the lastest information from DOE.

See I applied to NYC and did the whole application and heard nothing from them!!!
I am in a private school and we just found out in january we are closing. Its very tough out there. Whether its private school or public, there is a lot of downsizing. I say to myself all the time I feel bad for these kids right out of college with teaching degrees beacuse there is nothing out there..LI or the city!
