NWR: Teachers--Differentiating Instruction, workshop model
As I said in my last post was hired this year as an enrichment teacher. I was supposed to do hands-on projects. The whole class worked independently or in groops on the same project.
I did not use the TC model to do my lessons.
So if I am asked how I differentiated instruction or used TC what could I say?????????
I really can't say 'I didn't have to'. I am trying to come up with ways where I can say I used it incase I am asked.
Any suggestions???
Thanks ladies!

You can say how you made groups of students for the projects based on varying ability levels and learning styles. I would definitely focus on learning styles if the students you taught were high level. For instance, you grouped students who were kinesthetic learners with those who were mastery and self expressive learners in order to increase creativity and productivity in the groups.

you could say that you modeled a part of each activity... thats part of the workshop model, and conferencing with the students as they work...
( i swear each teaching philosophy is the same, just with different names for each part!)
