I am a new kindergarten teachers, and we do a pilgrims and indians feast at Thanksgiving I need an easy, but creative, way to make indian costumes w/my kids. I want to try something different to impress my grade level coworkers. Thanks sooooo much for any input. P.S. The paper bag idea has been shot down already

Re: NWR teachers help if you can!!
paper bags from the grocery story make great vests and you can cut out sponge shapes for the to sponge paint onto them,.... open up the paper bag and cut it up the middle for the front of the vest and a hole at the top for the neck... and then two holes for arms
OK SORRY DIDNT READ THE P.S. and why did they shoot it down? are they expecting like real animal hides or something?

For our kindergarten feast we did headpieces (headbands with construction paper feathers for boys and pilgrim hats for girls) We also had them make their own macaroni necklaces using the colored macaroni - they looked adorable!
