Can anyone recommend a brand of teeth whitening strips/trays?
They had a few different kinds out there, I'm sort of dubious about whether they actually work.

Actually, my dentist told me that the Arm and Hammer Booster (that is like 6 bucks) works the best! And you just put it over your toothpaste and brush- it works with the fluoride.

Re: NWR: Teeth Whitening Strips
I tried the Crest 3D whitestrips right before my wedding ... i only used them for about a week though but didn't see any results.
also, the first 2 days of using them, my teeth were very sensitive ...
good luck

Crest Avdanced Whitening, Advanced Professional Effects or something, takes two weeks, 30 min once a day.
People will definitely notice your teeth are whiter, and I only had minor sensitivity. I just made sure I wiped it off my teeth and gums completely.

Re: NWR: Teeth Whitening Strips
I've used the Crest white strips and they seem to work pretty well... But I tend to get very sensitive teeth if I use them according to the directions so I just do it one time a day in stead of two and after the first few days I actually then do every other day.

I used crest advanced whitening...they really work,, but your teeth do become sensitive while you are using them...guess that is the price of beauty

Ok, I am a dental hygienist so this is my field. Of course you are going to get a better result from doing it in your dental office because not only do they use stronger hydrogen peroxide gel but they usually will make molds for your teeth so that you don't miss any spots.
The Crest White Strips do work, however, back to what I was saying before, if you have any kind of overcrowding or teeth that are turned a little bit they may not whiten evenly because the gel may not hit every spot.
As for the sensitivity, you're going to get that with ANY kind of whitening product that will actually provide results. If you don't have any sensitivity then it's usually not working how you would want it to. But what we do recommend is that you use Sensodyne toothpaste for at least 10 days before you start whitening to help cut down on the sensitivity. My mom used the Sensodyne for almost a month and a half before an in office treatment and didn't have any sensitivity! Not to mention the in office treatment is a lot stronger than the stores so it definitely helps!!
One more thing, try to avoid staining foods while you are whitening because the process does make your teeth more porous and will pick up stains quicker. For example, if you're whitening and drinking coffee on a regular basis, you're kind of canceling the whitening out.

Re: NWR: Teeth Whitening Strips
These things ruined my life... they turned my teeth white then after a few weeks i guess it stripped my teeth and the bottom of my whole bottom row of teeth is like, discolored.... Not yellow. But wierd.. my sister liked them but make sure you have nice strong teeth with lots of enamel! lol

Re: NWR: Teeth Whitening Strips
I used Go smile. And my teeth were super white. And they were never sensitive. They can be expensive, but Hautelook usually offeres them at a discount. I can let you know next time I see the sale take place, I looked at their website and go smile is under their 'upcoming sale' section.

the crest ones you buy at the dentist office really work. They are stronger than the cover the counter ones
