So my coworker texted me last night saying the he's not sure if he'll be able to make it to the client today b/c he has the flu. So being the nice senior that I am, I told him to stay home and feel better.
Fast forward to this morning => he's here...and coughing and sniffling and looks like crap. I got so mad that I yelled at him. Do you not listen to me?!?! My immune system has been crap and now I'm probably going to get sick b/c he wont stop coughing.
He goes - you should be happy that I at least came to help out - i told him -THAT'S NOT THE POINT! I don't want to get sick
grrrrrrrrrr so angry right now
and to top it off, it took me 2 hours to drive on on the belt pkway to drive 30 miles....bad way to start off the week.

Re: NWR: The Flu
you know, i am out a co-worker today as well, and as much as it blows that she is not here because i have to pick up her workload, at least i know i won't get sick.
my boss is such an idiot sometimes because he will make you come in and your all sick and gross and then you get the whole office sick. that happened one time and i think he learned his lesson.
