I went into Old Navy last night to pick up some dress socks and boxers for FH. They're having this Best Week Ever bullcr@p and it's so annoying because they walk around with a bullhorn screaming about how it's the best week ever while handing out prize tickets. I was able to avoid all of that chaos until I got to the register. The manager was like OHMYGOSH! You didn't get a ticket, let me get you one. All I wanted to do was go home and relax and eat (I was starving!). She hands me a ticket and to humor her, I peel it off to see what (if anything, probably not) I won.
I WON TWO ROUNDTRIP AIRLINE TIX TO ANYWHERE IN THE US!!!!!!!
Who wins stuff like that?!!? Certainly not me!!! It's so awesome because FH and I are desparate for a vacation but we're broke (Planning the wedding, ya know?!). So Vegas it is baby!!!!! We're planning it for this spring!
Can anyone recommend anywhere awesome to stay at a reasonable price... we're thinking of staying for 5 days.

Congrats!!! Maybe I will go to Old Navy today after work.
Stay on the strip in Vegas. You can get some good prices. I stayed at Paris and had views of the Bellagio water all the time. I also stayed at the medievel one, but it did not make any impact on me and can not remember the name.

I would definitely recommend staying on the strip. I loved the Monte Carlo and Mirage (those were my two favorite ones to stay at because they are very reasonably priced compared to some of them, and they were very nice). The other one's I liked were New York New York, Excalibur, Bally's, and Paris. Anywhere you go in Vegas you will love. It is so much fun and you can walk from casino to casino and check them all out because each one of them is so beautiful in their own way. Have a great time and Congrats again!!!

All the hotels on the strip are awesome in there own way. I stayed in the Aladdin one time and then MGM another time.
CONGRATS...and no matter what you are gonna have a BLAST there!!

i also won a trip to vegas and we stayed at Treasure Island. it was really cool. and i know that it's cheap too. and you get VIP to the FREE show there!

YAYAYAYA!! I wish that would happen to me! Im going to Vegas next week and staying at the Bellagio! But trust me,,,its really expensive and probably the last time Ill be staying there! I loved the Paris and the Aladdin,,,the Aladdin is a little more reasonable then Paris though! Those are both in the middle of the strip,,so you can walk to either end. Vegas is my favorite place to go in the world! Congats!!!!!
