Re: nwr - to pass the time
wow - im kinda sad now that i looked at that website... there are people counting down the days until they leave their husbands/wives

I saw that most people were in the three figures to count down. I have four days and two hours before I leave and its going to be wonderful. I know in my heart of heart it is the right decision. Good luck to the other counters.'

I know.....it is sad....but it's reality...for some people anyway. If you ever see the books, I think they sell them in Urban Outfitters and novelty type stores, def. skim through them....not all the secrets are depressing, some are hysterica...shocking but still funny.

Re: nwr - to pass the time
that site sounds almost as bad as that stupid dating website for people already WITH people...
i keep hearing ads for it during opie & anthony and it makes me sooooo angry!!!!!!!!!! I can't think of the name of it - but it's specifically for married people or people in relationships...

I agree. Some people really need to get it out...and to have people 'hear' it, but just not know who it's coming from.

I know what you're talking about and yes, that site is disgusting...they run ads for it on stern too, and it blows my mind.
but this is totally different. It's not just about people complaining about their spouses, that's only a small segmet and that was really comments on one particular secret and apparently there were people that were commiserating. People post secrets, or confessions, about lots of different things, things they're proud of but can't broadcast, things they're ashamed of but can't hold in any longer. It's an outlet more than anything.....kind of reminds you that things aren't always what they seem...you know?

Re: nwr - to pass the time
those books are amazing. my sister has 2 of them and i read them thinking it was stupid and then really liked them
i think it is definitely a good way for people to let their hearts go and say what they have been hiding or keeping a secret and have no one know it came from them.
