NWR: Touro Ed Program HELP!!!!!
Hey ladies -
I got some really bad news last week and I'm wondering if anyone can help. I am in my 5th year of teaching and I started my Masters with Touro. I only have 3 classes left, one regular class (640) and the observation/student teaching combo.
I just found out that I can't take the observation class and the teaching class in the same semester. NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THAT!!!!!!!! I have to finish by September for my certification and that means I'll have to do student teaching over the summer......BUT MY WEDDING IS JUNE 30TH AND I'LL BE ON MY HM TIL JULY 18TH! I'm freaking out.
Anyone do their masters in Ed through Touro? Even just letting me know what to expect or what is required would be helpful.
ANyone know of a special ed program that runs through the summer that might accept a 'student teacher'? It's such BS because I KNOW HOW to teach, they just make you jump through hoops, which is crazy.
