NWR True Blood

SO FH for me the Sookie Stackhouse books. Love them!! After reading the first few, I started watching the show On Demand. I missed some of the episodes, but watched most of them. I want Season 3 nowwwww!!!

I like the books much better. They are very different. Any other fans of the books? show?? When does Season 3 start???


What book are you up to? I'm finishing 4.

LOVE the books! 1st time ever i've liked a full series!

i actually tried reading some of her other books and they didn't hook me. i love how the Sookie books are written.

i think i'm on 5 or 6? losing count now haha

and yes, the books are much better than the show but i do love the show

The books are AMAZING. I finished all of them (including the 'deleted scenes' book) and pre-ordered the newest one the other day. CAN'T WAIT!

FH got me the newest one and a set of short stories. I wish I had more time to read. They are such quick reads but I don't have time lately!!

I'm halfway through book 8.
and we just finished watching season 2 on HBO demand.
I did not like season 2.. season 1 was ALMOST to the book.. season 2 was like NOT!

I think the books are alright, I can't put them down.. but I don't feel myself being pulled to them when I'm not reading (like twilight, vampire diaries and the immortal series)

i talk to friends who've read the whole series more than once and we seem to kinda know what happens in book 10.

LOOOOOOOVE the books....what # is the newest one? I think I am up to that one haha

I also like the TV series, but as a separate entity from the books. If I try to compare them to the books I get a little annoyed but if I take it for itself I like it a lot

I had no idea there were books!!! Whoa....

We watched seasons 1 and 2 pretty in 1n days' time... over christmas.... I did a search then and found that Season 3 will be out in JUNE!!! What is that??? (although I have found that upcoming season dates are not always accurate!!!)

I do like the show, just not what I expected. I think she is great as Sookie. I was just over the Mary Ann character and felt that was dragged on. Really looking forward to this new Season! I love Alcide!

i wonder if they're going to get into Alcide and the town of Hotshot and Quinn (i'd love to see who would play him )

fh got them for me last xmas and i just cant get into them....

BUT i do LOVEEEEEEEEE the show!

LOVE the show and also HATED maryann ughhh

now I want to read the books being you girls seem to love them!
