SO FH for me the Sookie Stackhouse books. Love them!! After reading the first few, I started watching the show On Demand. I missed some of the episodes, but watched most of them. I want Season 3 nowwwww!!!
I like the books much better. They are very different. Any other fans of the books? show?? When does Season 3 start???
What book are you up to? I'm finishing 4.

hurry and finish so you can read vamp d! i loved it! there's no sex (i know- boo) but they describe sharing blood to be the same as doing it. the latest book was really confusing because the first 4 were written in the early 90's and 5 was written last year... but i can't wait for books 6 and 7!

I'm actually a HUGE Sookie Stackhouse fan!!
I've read the entire series. More than once.
I think book #13 comes out in May!!!
I've also read all her short stories from the Sookie Universe and her other series (which were okay but nothing to write home about.). I wasn't all that fond of the short stories, either, but if you're interested she put out a collection 'A Touch of Dead'.
Season 3 starts in June!!! I can't WAIT to see who they cast for Alcide Herveaux!!

I really hope season 3 follows along with book 3, Club Dead, it's one of my faves!!
But I'm *REALLY* anxious for season 4!!! All you ladies who read the books know why!!
ok book 1- we meet sookie and bill and someone's killing fangbangers book 2- sookie goes to dallas and the whole godric/fots thing happens book3- bill is kidnapped blah blah blah book 4- eric looses his memory/witch war book5- ???? i know charles is in that one.. but i dont remember details book6- helllllo quinn! um.. the whole haylees apartment thing happens book 7- pyramid of geeza book 8-(i'm on now) um.. alcide becomes leader...

i've only read 1 book (the 1st one i think) and loved it! i'm finishing up a few and hopefully FI would get me the set too! hehe

I am reading Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton and there's wasn't enough sex for my liking. It's definitely good and i like the book, but please tell me the next books have more seeeexxxxxxx!!!!

The books are AMAZING. I finished all of them (including the 'deleted scenes' book) and pre-ordered the newest one the other day. CAN'T WAIT!
FH got me the newest one and a set of short stories. I wish I had more time to read. They are such quick reads but I don't have time lately!!

I like the show, but I am sooooo critical!!! I have to treat it like a whole other animal because I keep comparing!!!
This is my problem. hahah FH hates the show. He leaves the room whenever I put it on he hates it that much. hahah i think he just thinks it doesnt live up to the hype! i enjoy the show, but like the books more.
