NWR - Ughhh....Updated with Verdict

So pulling in my driveway today my car literally just SHUT OFF! It wasnt even in park yet and it just died!!

I have no idea whats wrong with it.. but that was really freaky FH looked at it and thinks he knows what it is but he cant fix it so now my car needs to go to the mechanic!

I really hope whatever it is does not cost a fortune!

aw good luck, not to scared you but sound like the alternator ( I had the same issues) or air filter cap might not be on. Have you gone for an oil change recently/ I went for an oil change and they forgot to put the air filter cap on, I drove all the way to queens from mineola and once I got off the highway, my car turned off.

I hope it nothing serious !!!!

I hope your car works out!! Omg my good friend just had a similar problem...do u have a mechanic u can trust? Sometimes they nickel & dime u for everything!

yes fortunately I have a really good mechanic that I definately trust!.. hopefully I will have the verdict soon the tow guy was at my house around 845 this morning.

The verdict is in.. its my alternator. Fortunately its not tooo expensive and my car will be all fixed today! and theyre throwing in an oil change!

Well I'm really glad it can be taken care of quickly AND its not too much money!

My jeep had horrible trouble all the time with everything wrong with it, I can sympathize with how much it stinks
