NWR - Valley Stream

So I was wondering if any of you ladies live in Valley Stream? FH and I might be moving there, we are looking to leave queens and our 1 bedroom co-op. FH really wants a yard and a dog. What are your thoughts and opinions? Both FH and I had grew up in Queens so we don't know the area well.

I grew up in VS. What part/area? There are some decent areas and some not so decent areas.

Keep in mind however, that you'll need to make sure you have some type of parking available if you have a car. You can't park in the street overnight in VS.
