NWR- VENT

*Sighs* For the past 4 years I have been dealing with thyroid disease. When I first didn't know what I had, it was the worst feeling that I felt every single day. I suffered pain, tiredness, depression, and had NO energy- I just didn't want to do a thing. I finally started to feel like me again after about a year after the Doctor put me on meds. I was taking brand name Synthroid and it was the best thing for me. Well, the a$$hole Doctor switched my meds and at first, it was alright but then I saw my hair falling out and all my symptoms from 4 years ago creeped up. I have felt like this everyday for a week now and I swear, it is HORRIBLE. I don't feel like me anymore and I ask why the f*ck I have to suffer. I called up my Doctor last week and told them that I was feeling like sh*t again and asked if they could call in a month and a half supply of Synthroid to my pharmacy. He told me no because I needed a blood test. I just had one a month and a half ago. So, I went on Tuesday and got one. Now, I have to wait and suffer until I get my results back. I swear. I hate Doctors. He had no reason to switch my medication when I was doing so well. I think they do it on purpose to get me in there for repeat appointments so they make money.

Sorry for the vent. I had to just let it out. My FH doesn't get me right now. He thinks I am being a b*tch. I am but it's all because of this condition which totally *****. I wish they had a cure for it. It's really terrible Thanks for listening Girls.... I think it's time I get some sleep. Nitey night.

From someone whose FH had the same problems I can relate. He was tired a lot, and would get depressed but now its so much better. I am not sure what he is on but has been on it now for about 2 years. Everything is much better actually he has more enegry in everything he does. He used to fall asleep driving sometimes and now its fine but he never knew why he was so tired. His dosage was actually upped because it was not helping like the Dr. thought but it is now so much better.

I didn't understand at first either and would get mad at fh because at that time we lived an hour apart and he was always so tired and irritable. Now I feel bad because it wasnt his fault.

I am so sorry you have to go through this. Your thyroid does a lot for your body that I would have never known about if it wasnt for FH's problems.

I know what you mean about doctors...ive been having problems myself lately. Good luck and I hope you start feeling better soon!!

Just try to remain positive and remember, that everything happens for a reason!!!

And def change doctors next time around!

As for FH, just ask him to hang in there and be supportive......

Well I'm glad the test results came back fine and he's switching you back. I hope you are feeling your self real soon.

Thank you! I seriously can't wait 'til later when i pick up my meds. I am at work right now and feel really sick. But, I am remaining happy because I know I will feel better soon!

I hate doctors too

i'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well! i hope you can go back on the medicine that makes you feel healthy! it sounds like such a struggle!
