NWR: Vent

I dont know why people dont mind their own business! For years people have told me I should stop smoking. Now that I have, these same people are now telling me Im gaining weight back again. Yes I know I am! Dont they think I know my clothes are getting tight on me!! Yes for the past 5 weeks (since I stopped smoking) I have not been eating healthy at all I dont need these people telling me I am getting fat again. F. U. To all the people who dont think I realize this. I can always loose the weight- I cant get my lung capacity back!!!!!!

congrats on quitting smoking my mother works for lung doctors so i know how great this is!!!!!!!!!!!! first of all better heavy than dead from lung failure and you are right the weight will come off!!!! we are here if you need us!!!!

MORE POWER TO YOU CONGRATS ON QUITTING SMOKING Naturally when you quit smoking you gain weight. That weight gain is very easy to take off. IGNORE EVERYONE LOOKING AT YOUR WEIGHT GAIN & NOT GIVING YOU CONGRATS ON GIVING UP SMOKING!

people always have something to say no matter what we do. I put it under 'no class or tact' column. ignore them, and congrats on stopping smoking (need to work on that myself)

ITA, i don't get some people, Some people should really think BEFORE they speak.

Congrats on quitting, its such a great accomplishment! Keep going, and worry about the weight later on, it can always come off!

Thank you all- I knew you guys would make me feel better. My mom always told me if you dont have something nice to say, dont say anything at all. I guess these people werent taught that. I know that I can loose the weight again. Still have 494 days till my wedding. Plenty of time!!

Seriously i think it takes a pair for anyone to comment on another's weight. Some people have no respect.

People are so rude. Don't let them get to you because it is such an accomplishment to quit smoking. Some people just do not know how to be happy for anyone so they look for 'flaws.'

That's awesome that you've quit smoking!

When I was young, I was a bit chubby and I used to be teased a lot in junior high. I used to tell people 'you know, I can drop the weight, but you'll always be ugly!'
