NWR: Vent
Do you ever just feel that some people are only out for themselves? I mean I know it's human nature to protect yourself but I always thought that when one's in a trying situation, helping one another is the way to go.
Unfortunately lately Ive been experiencing some people around me that see things as a competition and would rather keep things to themselves than help others out. It really frustrates me because I'm not like that. I work hard for myself, but when asked I'll gladly help others out. If they are using me to take a short-cut then I know they will suffer in the end. I feel seeing life as a competition will perhaps bring success but in the end more loneliness.
