NWR- Vent about Work!
Arg! I'm so frustrated with work- and I just HAVE to vent. About a month ago, I got a promotion at work. I applied for the job, had a series of interviews and ended up getting the job. Currently, I work in my company's home division- and the promotion is for the jewelry division- something I do not have a whole lot of experience in (i'm not worried about my lack of experience). Our HR department told me that I would be in my new position by Oct 1st, which was about 2 1/2 weeks after I got the position, so I was fine with that. They needed time to find a replacement for my current position- which again, I was totally fine with. So, they found a replacement, and she is coming from another department within the company. So now her department wont release her because they need to find a replacement for her position! (confusing, I know). Now it is October 11th, and I am just totally frustrated! I am sitting here doing practically nothing all day because my current department wont really give me anything to do, they dont want me to start any new projects just in case my new department takes me without notice. And my boss keeps asking me the STUPIDEST questions, and its getting annoying. My VP wont even talk to me- I put things on his desk to sign off on, and he hands them back to my boss. ***! Soo frustrated! I HATE being bored. I just want to go to my new department already! Ok, I'm done venting- but I'm not done being frustrated. ![]()
