NWR - vent! (long)

So this morning I went to the nail salon to get a fill-in. I've been so busy with the wedding planning , house hunting and 2 jobs that I haven't gone since 2/19. Last time I went I soaked off my old wraps and got a new set of wraps and cut down my nails really short.

So after waiting 40 minutes to get them done the girl asks me if I wanted to cut them. They are still pretty short so I said no. The owner is sitting next to us and looks at my nails and starts screaming at me. 'Oh no you have to soak...you wait too long to get a fill-in' I was like I just got a new set last month I have no time to sit here another 40 mins and soak. She continued to say 'You are suppose to come every 2 weeks for a fill-in'. So I said I'm sorry but I just don't have the time to come back every two weeks...I'm planning a wedding, trying to find a place to live and I work two jobs....I'm sorry my nails aren't my 1st priority. She said, 'I'm just telling you, you can't wait so long for a fill-in'...she continues to say 'I have a business to run so I'm telling you you need to soak'...she proceeds and whips out a notebook and tells me the last time I was there was Feb 19th for a new set of wraps.

Whatever....what the f can I do...not go to work one day so I can get my nails done...or stop looking for a place to live on my days off from my part-time job and get my nails done. Yeah great....my nails will look fantastic but we will be homeless!

Can you believe this crap? Instead of saying thank you Anna for continuing to come to my ghetto nail salon and giving me your business for all these yrs (almost 12 yrs.) I get yelled at!

I should have told her to whip out her notebook and write down:
March 28th, 2008 - Last day Anna will ever get her nails done at my salon!

Sorry for the long vent...but she really pisssed me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are plenty of good nails salons.

Sh!t! My mom said why the f did I sit there and continue to get my nails done after she said that sh!t to me.

I'm an @ss....I should have gotten up and left.

It's hard dealing with incompetent, ungrateful, can't mind there business people.

That would totally pis s me off!!! When i would get them done I would get them every three weeks. My mom gets them once a month and they hold up. Ppl have other priorities.

I hate people at the salons. I went to get a regular manicure on Wednesday. I changed my mind about the color when she put it on and she got all pis sy and started talking to the other girl in their language. Said nothing to me the entire time. Like thanks!

even wehn i do it EVERY 2 weeks i STILL got a fungus...

needless to say i never gotacrilic nails again, and just let my nails grow.

Wow!!!! I know she was dying for me to finish and leave. She is Korean but grew up in Argentina and all of her workers are Hispanic. She knows I speak Spanish so she couldn't talk about me!

I skipped ONE week, and the owner did the same thing to me, yelling about how i ' wait to long, soak nail, soak nail !!!!' after i told her it was just one week ' no no no, soak nail ! they a break if no soak , SOAK NAIL !!!'

I NEVER went back again, and i pass by almost every day , and wave to the other girls who work there ( who were SO nice, i felt bad for them, but the owner PISSED me off)

. I am not paying for you to yell at me, and if they break its MY problem .STFU and do my nails !

AND do you think by yelling on the TOP of your lungs about it is going to make it ok ? UGH !!!

Too bad you don't live in Queens, I found the BEST place in Flushing/ bayside ....the salon is beautiful, clean ect and the prices are reasonable , i drive 15 min to go there, but its worth it

I know....I was sooo embarassed...there were like 3 other ladies getting there hands done and 3 ladies in the pedicure chairs. One of the ladies was like ' okay ladies...don't fight'. Don't fight....she's the biotch who started with me!
