They are 9 and 6. And today they wanted to know why I am mean to their mom(of course she tells them this crap)?! How do you even explain this to them without telling them that their mother is a loser.

omg, what an aweful situation!!! i hope you have patience and a cool head to deal with her. she sounds ridiculously out of control. she babysits her own kids???? and acts like she's doing u a favor?? ohh geezz i dont think she understands what mothers are supposed to do... i wish u tons and tons and tons of good luck with her!!

Haha. This is exactky how we feel. Fh is like...'you contribute nothing towards them, at the very least you can watch them and not think it's a favor!' I'm usually fine with her not being around -- but when I desperately need to go into the office and she outright refuses to take her own kids -- it's the final straw. And last year she wanted us to pay her boyfriend to pick the kids up from school two days a week! I should give her a bill for all my services! LOL

I know this post is old but from experience (being a mother) no matter how bad you want to yell at the top of your lungs..YOUR MOM IS A LOSER..it will not work. Kids love their parents unconditionally. I'm sure that when they are bit more grown they will see her true colors. But they have to realize it themselves, unfortuantely
Don't worry one day they will realize what an amazing job your doing

Aw I am so sorry, I know you have always had problems with her but was hoping they would get better and she would mature and see how much you love HER kids and take such a good care of HER kids and she would maybe step up to the plate a little more. If you need anything feel free to always FM me!
