NWR VENT-People are inconsiderate

Ok so yesterday I come home from work, go into my room, put up the blinds and stuff just started flying around, it wasn't dust it was like saw dust or something, i look at my dressers and its COVERED in this, it was soooo thick too, my carpets were filled with it, had to sit there and clean it all up...the people upstairs are getting work done on their ceiling and the outside part has to be done. I dont know if saw dust is the correct term but its thick and beige i cant think right now lol, but its one of those things that gets EVERYWHERE even on the walls

Complained about this yesterday about the fact that we should've been told about this yesterday so we could've closed our windows and none of this would've happened, the super even offered to help clean but we already did it and said no.

OK so what happens just a few mins ago, i hear loud banging and im like uhmmm are they doing work again? YES!!! were we informed about this and told to close our windows-NO!!!!!! so after sitting yesterday cleaning it all up, i have to do it again...I looked at my dressers of course its covered in it again, not as bad as yesterday bc i was able to close the windows soon after it started. but its still a problem, not to mention FH's parents are coming over today for dinner, its their first time coming over...MY mom gets insane with these things and has been preparing food since yesterday and cleaned until late last night.

I cant take the people upstairs...before we moved in here we completely renovated the whole apartment, put alot of money into it. Soon after we moved in, one of the bathrooms started getting a huge water bubble on the ceiling, well it quickly filled up and seriously i wish i could show you how big it was and the thing popped and we had to redo our ceilings after already just finishing it...we went upstairs to complain and we find out its bc they have a very old shower and the water remains running, just drops but still water constantly leaking is gonna do this...when we told them they said but we love this shower head ...now the problem with their ceiling is all bc of them, they dont fix things, even the shower head was EXTREMELY old but they wait so long and dont understand things.

Thats it im gonna complain, and they have to pay for things.

sorry denise It's so tough when you live in an apt building b/c there are people that have no idea what common courtesy is to the other people in the building.

yeah these people really don't care..i understand they're old and its hard for them to consider change, but this is ridiculous

yeah luckily they're coming at 8pm so theres time but just annoying when we did all the cleaning last night...hahaha yeah loads of fun!!! WOO HOO

Ugh! So sorry you have to go through this... How annoying and inconsiderate! You would think they'd make sure to tell you to close your windows this time! Some people are just f'd up!

i don't understand if i knew i was getting work done i would always inform the people around me ..even when my parents have work done on the house and its major construction we tell our neighbors this way they are warned.

they did write us a letter about 2 weeks ago telling us they will have alot of work done and sorry for the inconvenience...ok thanks for letting us know but when it comes to something like this we need to be warned about it right before its done, maybe they didnt understand what the results would be but uhmmm you know now bc of yesterday.

And im not sympathetic about their problem bc they said they have a HUGE hole in their wall, why did you wait until it became HUGE the problem is they live there for god knows how many years, and NEVER fix things everything is old...of course youre gonna have problems like this

I'm sorry Denise...it'll all work out. I know what you are talking about..when I had the AC put into my bedroom wall, there was this thick coating of beige stuff on my TV and dresser...I flipped when I saw it! Can't imaging it happening twice :( You're a trooper lol Everything will work out for you and FH's family :) Have fun!

Yeah def complain to the landlord or something. This is the place you will be staying in after you guys get married?? Bad neighbors are the worse thing and if they are stubborn and dont listen
