Ok so yesterday I come home from work, go into my room, put up the blinds and stuff just started flying around, it wasn't dust it was like saw dust or something, i look at my dressers and its COVERED in this, it was soooo thick too, my carpets were filled with it, had to sit there and clean it all up...the people upstairs are getting work done on their ceiling and the outside part has to be done. I dont know if saw dust is the correct term but its thick and beige i cant think right now lol, but its one of those things that gets EVERYWHERE even on the walls
Complained about this yesterday about the fact that we should've been told about this yesterday so we could've closed our windows and none of this would've happened, the super even offered to help clean but we already did it and said no.
OK so what happens just a few mins ago, i hear loud banging and im like uhmmm are they doing work again? YES!!! were we informed about this and told to close our windows-NO!!!!!! so after sitting yesterday cleaning it all up, i have to do it again...I looked at my dressers of course its covered in it again, not as bad as yesterday bc i was able to close the windows soon after it started. but its still a problem, not to mention FH's parents are coming over today for dinner, its their first time coming over...MY mom gets insane with these things and has been preparing food since yesterday and cleaned until late last night.
I cant take the people upstairs...before we moved in here we completely renovated the whole apartment, put alot of money into it. Soon after we moved in, one of the bathrooms started getting a huge water bubble on the ceiling, well it quickly filled up and seriously i wish i could show you how big it was and the thing popped and we had to redo our ceilings after already just finishing it...we went upstairs to complain and we find out its bc they have a very old shower and the water remains running, just drops but still water constantly leaking is gonna do this...when we told them they said but we love this shower head ...now the problem with their ceiling is all bc of them, they dont fix things, even the shower head was EXTREMELY old but they wait so long and dont understand things.
Thats it im gonna complain, and they have to pay for things.

Yeah def complain to the landlord or something. This is the place you will be staying in after you guys get married?? Bad neighbors are the worse thing and if they are stubborn and dont listen
I don't know if were gonna stay here after we're married...we plan on buying a house but just gotta figure some things out first since FH's new position at his job will all be in LI.

Oooo ok i think thats what it might be, i just couldn't think of the name for it. Yeah its insane, my mom is histerical she was saying how it gets everywhere and was freaking out and said watch you'll see how bad it is, you'll find some in the crack of your a**

yeah the water thing in the bathroom happened when we first moved here, since then its been ok and now this...Even now their problem doesnt effect us just the mess its leaving behind
We also own another apartment in the building, and FH and I were gonna actually move in there a while ago but of course someone we know really needed an apartment so we didn't move in

God forbid you had your dress out or something and it got dust on it or had it stored somewher in your house and got leaked , OMG, are you going to put it in storage??

i would've killed them lol. But i also would've had it bagged up and completely closed off somewhere or i wouldn't even keep it in my apartment bc i smoke so i'd be afraid. The leak problem was fixed over a year ago, its not a constant problem thank god
Well my dress is due to come in march, and i figure with all the fittings and all that by the time its all done it will be close to my wedding so im just gonna have them hold it at kleinfelds, im just mostly afraid about the cig smoke

Yeah keep it at KF, sometimes even bagged up cig smoke can get in anything, I hate cig smoke, smell stains my clothes when I go out.

You guys should come check out New Hyde Park...close to Queens...not too 'Long Island-y' lol We'd be neighbors :)
