NWR : Verizon Fios or Time Warner Cable ?

NWR : Verizon Fios or Time Warner Cable ?

Does anyone have Verizon Fios or have ever tried it ? Would you recommend Verizon Fios or Time Warner Cable ?

I am looking to get TV, Internet and Phone so any experiences with both are appreciated. I have previously used Time Warner Cable and thought it was fine but wanted to know if Fios is better.

i've only ever had time warner ... never had any problems with them !

My sister has Fios and she loves loves it!!

I just think it depends on the price difference to make the decision

Had TW- but switched to FiOS. it was a little difficult to get used to at the beginning but the picture is so much better then TW and their Customer Service is better.

I have had soooo many problems with Time Warner!! I hate them and can not wait until Fios is in my area so I can switch. I have had service issues galore! Like every 60 seconds, the volume on Fox and some of the other channels goes in and out. I notice it more on Fox because I was watching So You Think You Can Dance all summer. Oh and 2 weeks in a row when I was DVRing something, it cut off like 15 minutes in the middle of the show and then went straight to the end. ANNOYING! And those are just the problems in my current apt. In my last apt., I had issues too. The service was really bad and I kept getting lines on my tv. So they had to come out 3 times to try and fix it. I eventually had to get all new wiring outside of the house, which was annoying because my apt. was in a row home and they had to go through my land lords apt. to get to the stupid pole. So many problems with Time Warner!!!!!!!!

I just switched from cable to Fios and love it...So many more channels and the picture i super clear. THe only downside was it took them all day to install.

Fios has better quailty and faster internet. However, Fios does not have the Rangers on high def (matters if you or FH are big fans). They just started their own local news to compete with Time Warner and Cablevision, not sure how good it is.

I also switched from Time Warner to FIOS and I love it. Telephone, TV and internet are so much better. Also if you have any issue they move much faster addressing problems than TW.

time warner is terrible. terrible service... tv buffering all t he damn time... loss of the on demand service far too frequently.

the internet seemed OK... not incredibly fast, but not dial up modem slow.

I'd give fios a try.

I have always had Time Warner and I'm happy with it for the most part (sometimes there are probs w/ certain channels). I heard Fios is great!!!!!! FH and I wanted to switch over to Fios when we moved but it wasn't offered in my area I would say go for Fios
