NWR... was anyone just watching American Idol... i almost choked

that dude held his horriffic voice for like 10 minutes

are these people serious???
do tehy really think they have a chance or that they are good????
or were they dared..or want 15 seconds of fame??

yes... it's hilarious... but in a way i feel so sorry for some of them. they really think they have 'it'. i'd have a hard time holding my laughter in if i was judge.

Some of them are hard to sit all the way through- it is sad because these people have to be seriously ill to believe that they sound good- like don't they have family or friends that could have given them a heads-up by now? And imagine how long they had to wait to get in to just embarass themselves?
But, I guess you can't knock someone for attempting their dream!

My girlfriend actually auditioned here in Orlando and in my opinion has an AWESOME voice- she sings in her church, sounds like Whitney, may sing at my wedding- but sadly she didn't make it past the screeners! I think they just let the REALLY bad people through for some good TV. Isn't that mean to them, though? But, funny for us!

The screeners? I thought it was open auditions? The show is fixed then because there is no way the distant relative of Toni Braxton could have gotten by.

i used to find the bad auditions amusing, but now it's just a torture to sit through. and why do they even let the really dreadful people sing more than one song??? makes my ears bleed!

I think that they do let more of the bad people through so that they get more in the ratings dept. Come on, would we all watch if they only had 10,000 great singers? If nothing was there for us to laugh at? I think they should let anyone with a good voice through though even if it means going on longer.
