Has anyone ever been to the Ritz Carlton or The St. Regis in Washington DC? We're having a conference in DC in a few months & I have to choose between these 2 hotels. TIA

I used to work right near the St. Regis and we went there for drinks. It is beautiful inside. It is a few blocks from the White House, more centrally located than the Ritz Carlton if I remember correctly. I think the Ritz is closer to the airport though, if that is a consideration. I would choose the St. Regis.
