NWR: Watch out for hair appointment thieves!!!

I went to get my haircut today. I was supposed to be my hairdresser's first appointment at 3 pm, which is when she starts working on Saturdays.

I walked in at 3:02. She had JUST started doing some old woman's hair. She yelled out 'hey Sue, you're early, right?'

I said 'no, I had a 3 o'clock'

So, she asked me to wait. Finally, she finished up at 3:25 and then her 3:30 appointment came in.

So, my hairdresser checks the book and realized that the old woman DID NOT have any appointment for today at all!!!!! She just walked in and said 'oh, I have a 3 o'clock appointment' and no one ever checked the schedule until it was too late!

I have to- I LOVE this hairdresser. I think the 'old woman' was a regular customer which is why my hairdresser recognized her. It's just that no one double checked when she said that she had the 3 o'clock appointment.

she cut my hair and the 3:30 appointment had to wait until 4 and I guess my hairdresser's entire day got pushed back by a half hour

uggg that really bothers me. Same thing kinda happened to me...I overheard this girl practically bragging to the wash girl saying 'Brian (the hair dresser) fit me in at the last minute, hes so great...I mean, I'm such a brat, I know him for years and I begged him to fit me in, I came all the way from new york city....blah blah' MEANWHILE, she doesn't realize I'm sitting right next to her WAITING for her bratty butt to be finished.

Funny, I didn't realize it bothered me as much as it did until i just re-read my post. Hahahahha

i do hair and i cant tell you how much this pisses me off too... sometimes the receptionists dont look close enough and have me do someone..when the person who was supposed to have that time gets bumped and the only one who gets grief is me.... also when someone is literally 30 mintues late and they are the first appt of the day.... i was about to 86 someone today cause this was the 3rd time they have done that.... so inconsiderate to everyone.. grrr blah lol
