I am trying to find something to do this weekend since it will be beautiful out. Any girls have any ideas on inexpensive places to go with a 2.4 year old? I am going pumpkin picking next week so need something else :)

White Post Farms in melville has some great stuff to do all weekend. Hayrides, face painting, great food, etc! (its off on 110)

yea the queens county zoo which is by queens center is probably the closest to you if youre in brooklyn. but there is one in floral park too.
That's where we are going next week for pumpkin picking...LOL

How about the CEntral Park Zoo? They have a petting farm in there too and they have cool play areas for kids, he might be able to play with other young kids his age.
Or the Aquariam in Coney Island? They have fun shows - but check the schedules - or even just walking on the boardwalk on Coney Island - everything looks fun and exciting when your that young and there are so many colors and action going on everywhere!
