Hello gals. I was wondering if any of you had any other diet options other than weight watchers. I just want to lose about 15 lbs. I have been cutting calories, and trying to eat consistently throughout the day, but I am still just maintaining. I work out about 3 times a week. Do any of you have any other diets that you have found successful? I have about 2 and 1/2 months to lose it.....

Re: NWR-Weight Loss....
What are you doing in terms of your weightloss? Do you eat the same things everyday?

Re: NWR-Weight Loss....
try changing up your workout, ie. on the treadmill add an incline slightly higher than you normally would walk/run at or if you walk arounda track try holding some small weights to add arm resistance...that usually helps shed an extra pound or two.

Re: NWR-Weight Loss....
I have just started the lifestyle cut diet. It is a bit rigid and takes a little getting used to but it is definitely helping me tone and lose some weight.
I have lost 33 lbs in the past two months. I highly recommend portion control and WATER!! I bought a food scale(inexpensive at BBB) and measure all my meat to 4oz for dinner with vegetables, etc and I make sure I really drink my eight glasses of water a day (I purchased a 64oz. water bottle at BBB as well). If you need any other info you can FM me.
Hope this helps and Good Luck!

It sounds like you are doing the right things....portion control and exercise....I would bump up the number of workouts to 5-6 days a week also.

When you say you work out 3 days a week -- for how long? Cardio? Strength training? How intense is your cardio?

PS - and remember... those last 10-15 pounds are always the hardest to lose. Just keep at it and I'm sure they'll come off.

Re: NWR-Weight Loss....
I lost 40lbs so far on Jenny Craig. It is a lil pricey, but if you use the coupon for $20 for 20 lbs...you can do it. I think it has been fairly easy to stick to, and cardio helps out a lot. But, if not, maybe you should work out more...good luck!!

Re: NWR-Weight Loss....
i was doing an all(most all) protein diet... all meats and fish, nuts, milk, cheese, veggies (except corn and peas), no sugar or subs, no candy, no sodas, no rice, no potatoes, no bread, basically no carbs.... i did that for a week, and lost 5 lbs.. my friend tho he's a little on the heavier side lost 20 lbs in 1 month.. it was crazy... but it really works...

just be careful with this..once you start eating carbs again you may gain the weight back and possibly more...
