I was thinking about trying it but was wondering what anyone else thought about it.

Re: NWR: Weight loss question
I have tried them all. You still have to stick to a diet when taking them and it helps to work out. Of course it would be nice just to take the pills and not have to work out or eat right but it doesn't happen. It does speed up your metabolism a little. Nothing works as good as when the pills had the effedra (SP) in them..

Re: NWR: Weight loss question
I agree...DIET, EXERCISE and WATER. If there were magic pull, we would all be taking it, but there is no such thing. Take it from someone who lost 50+ pounds on my own! I ate right, measured food, drank tons of water and exercised! See my before and after pictures in my album. It took me 1.5 years, but it was well worth the time and effort and I have not gained a pound back! There is no quick cure!

Re: NWR: Weight loss question
First try doing it naturally, it can harm you and the problem is you're not gonna be on those pills all your life and once you stop you will gain alot of weight back

I'm considering Hoodia. It's all natural. I'm waiting to hear back from FSIL about this (she's a pharmasist)... when I hear back, I'll let you know what she said.

there was a whole big thread about this on the 07 board a few weeks ago, maybe you can look at that.

Re: NWR: Weight loss question
I'm a girl who lost 40 lbs on her own and I am also against using those crazy weight loss pills. Dexatrim is actually only an appetite supressant. I mean it has caffine in it but it's not made to make you lose weight and increase your metabolism it's made to make you feel less hungry throughout the day.
I only know cause I asked my sister cause she knew I didn't want to take any of those 'lose 60 pounds in a week!' drugs. . .
Thanks for the concern girls! But beleive me I know, eating right, water and excercise is the best way to go!

Re: NWR: Weight loss question
i've tried everything but nothing works better than diet and exercise. And if diet and exercise didn't work for me then that was because i was cheating.

Re: NWR: Weight loss question
All those different diet pills kinda scare me. I would just stick to the dieting and exercise. GOOD LUCK!

Re: NWR: Weight loss question
Ok, so fitness and nutrition is pretty much my life/career/whatever. PLEASE do not take those pills. They're not healthy, and theyre such a scam. Along with taking the pills, you have to diet and exercise, the thing is, if you just diet and exercise, you'll lose weight too! Please try working out and eating healthier first!!!
