Re: NWR: weight watchers girls

I am finding it really helpful. I had been on vacation for a few weeks and am sort of relieved to have some structure to get back on track. I find the meetings really helpful just to keep motivation going... Good luck! Keep up the good work, girls! :)

I joined 2 weeks ago and so far have lost 5 lbs. My weakness is the weekends because me and my FH go out every weekend basically and it is so hard to turn down a beer or cosmo because I dont want to waste my points. But Knowing that it is working is keeping me somewhat motivated since I wasn't able to lose any weight without WW

was thinking about joining? feel like the structure of it and the accountability of someone weight me will boot me into shape...otherwise i have a craving and i lose all will power.

How much is it? Do men belong where you go to your meetings cause i want to get Fiance involved too- we both need to lose big time

Thanks!

well it's 10 bucks a week and yes they allow men. the place where i went had a couple of guys on saturdays...it's definitely worth joining and if your fh and you do it together, i'm sure you'll motivate each other!!

i on the other hand have an fh with an insatiable appetite. problem is, so do i! i can't blame him entirely but whatever i'm doing is just not working.

i soooooooo want to lose 50 lbs by next may at this rate, i won't lose anything...

i was doing it online but i think i need to go in person to get my a** kicked a bit...i just never connected with anyone in my group or any leaders...

i'll feel like i'm never going to look like how i'm dreaming i will look next year!!!

Hey Girls..

I saw this post and was happy b/c I hadn't seen a WW one before. I've been doing the points system now for 3 years....I lost 50 lbs total and haven't put it back on and am the LAST PERSON to be able to follow a 'diet'. Its really the greatest program, and if anyone has any questions that I can help with just FM me or post it on this board...the first year I lost probably close to 35, and that was reaching my first goal...then I wanted to take off the last 15 so I just kept up with the program, made small cutbacks and its been going great. One word of advice that I learned..drink a lot of water!! It really helped me for some reason, and it makes your skin clear too :) Good luck everyone!!

Wow...50 lbs!!! That's AWESOME!!!! Congrats!

Well, this weekend was a struggle for me girls because I had a bachelorette party for my friend this weekend that was an all weekend out of town event. Eating and drinking galore! Sometimes when I have a weekend like that, I find it sooo hard to get back on points on Monday, but this time I did it!!! And I went to the gym yesterday too!! I feel so good about that. I am sure I used all my flex and then some this weekend, but what's done is done. My goal is to stick to my target points for the rest of the week and to earn AP's. Can't wait for my flex to re-set on Friday!!!!

Re: NWR: weight watchers girls

congrats on the 50lbs!!!!! even more congrats though on the last 15...they must've been killer!!!

anyways, i've lost like 100 lbs already and i just cannot seem to get motivated to lose the last 50...

i need a personal trainer and like a personal chef or something. i've done ww and have been successful, but i just can't seem to do it these days.

it's like the closer the wedding comes the farther my goals seem to be

Azoodie, you look simply AMAZING. I wasnt going to post on this thread because there are plenty of people who claim they are fat when they are really not. BUT your pictures prove that it can be done!!

I have lost 60 so far but gained back about 30. I have been on and off WW for 3 years....for me its time to start working out hardcore.

You are an inspiration!

Re: NWR: weight watchers girls

thank you, but like i said, it's these last 50 lbs that are killing me!!!!!! i can't take it anymore!!!

and hbradio and beth, don't feel bad about posting and not really being 'fat'!!! it's a seldom few who don't have a few lbs they wish they could lose, so good for you!

it just seems that after all that, the rest is just IMPOSSIBLE!!

ETA: i was a little less then what i weigh now when i met fh, but he has been with me through all my weight gain, he stuck by me and always loved me for me. he loves me no matter what i looked like--that's part of the reason why i love him so much!
