They're making it almost impossible to get our mortgage for our house...
Our closing date was this past Sunday, as per our contract. FH and I have a combined credit score of over 1500.
They're scrutinizing EVERY single detail of our accounts, and only telling us when WE call THEM...
It's just taking absolutely FOREVER to get this straight. I just want the keys to my darn house!!
If we're having this much trouble.... I can't even imagine what other people are going through. No wonder the housing markets is still in the crapper...... The banks are making it impossible!!!!

Yea I heard that alot of people were having problems with Wells Fargo. We had problems with Bank of America as well. We went through a broker our real estate agent suggested and we got a pre approval within a day.

my sister is a paralegal for a real estate lawyer and she does closing and things everyday and she always vents to us about how terrible Wells Fargo is! She told me never to do business with them!

I work for Wells Fargo's home finance COMPETITION lol
I cant say anything on behalf of wells fargo but I can probably imagine what they are going through considering what we are going through. It is extremely busy because of the refi boom. rates keep dropping and dropping and loan officers simply cant keep up. bear with them.. you'll have your keys soon!

Im a mortgage broker so i feel your pain. Wells fargo has been very difficult to deal with and has let down alot of my clients.- so i have been using other banks instead. Im sorry your going through this and i hope things work out.
my brother is having this issue as well..closing has been bumped back another week for the 3rd time

All of this doesn't sound too promising for Wells Fargo. I feel like we're at the point of no return, and it's too late to look into other banks.
We were originally going with B of A but then they turned around and required a 15% down payment. We can only afford a 10% d.p.
So WF was the next thing we tried. Since we're already past the contractual closing date, I feel like we can't start over elsewhere.

I have wells fargo for my mortgage they are actually good... Make SURE all your taxes are included in your home..

I have them for my house too and haven't had problems...unfortunately I just think it's because of the nightmare our economy is in right now that you're probably having this headache - it's affecting so many banks. Hope it gets cleared up soon!
