NWR: what do I wear to a baby shower?

I've never been to one. The shower is being held at the mom's parents house, probably in the backyard I'm guessing, weather permitting.

Nice pants and a top? Or should I wear a skirt/dress?

Also, the invite said to bring a 'wishing well' gift- what is this? I am so clueless with showers, I'm the first of my friends to get married so I've never been to one!! What would be a creative baby wishing well gift, whatever that means?

You can wear nice pants, a skirt, anything that looks dressy casual since it's in someones home.

A wishing well gift is a little something you bring, you don't put ur name on it, you just put it in the little well they have at the shower, all wrapped up. Usually for a baby shower you can put bibs, pacifiers, bottles, booties, socks, onesies, a rattle, baby lotion, baby shampoo...etc.
something small for the baby, usually people spend $5-$10 on a wishing well gift bc it's annonymous anyway.
