NWR- what do you give for a baptism?

My friends daughter is being baptised this weekend and I have no idea what is an appropriate gift. Do I give an actual gift? Or do I give money? How much?

I generally give about $50 unless it is a niece or nephew. A close friend recently baptized her son and I gave $50 and a few cute little outfits that were not too expensive. She was thrilled.
