NWR: What do you think of this dress for a sweet 16?

My FSIL is having her sweet 16 this July. I don't like light colors and I usually enjoy wearing black. Her parents are going all out for this party. The invitation said 'dress to impress.' I want to buy a dress I would wear again. What do you think of this dress? Yes? No? Maybe? Please let me know.

Where is the Sweet 16? The dress is pretty but is it velvet it may be really hot this time of year! It looks wintery.

Its not velvet. Its actually made for the summer. I just really don't like wearing light colors. Its an evening advent, so I figured the black would like okay and its actually more of a rose color. I have a friend who bought and she loves it!

I am not really sure how I feel about it. I guess it is nice, but I would have to see it in person.

I think its pretty, but are you sure you won't be warm in a long dress? Do they have it as a short dress (not like a mini dress or anything but like right below the knee?). I am always warm at those kind of events for some reason, LOL! But either way if you like it go for it!!!

You don't know my FIL's. They won't accept anything but floor length dresses for this advent. I was told my fsil dress is like a pink cindrella dress. So they want everyone in their extreme best. I know they had to make things diffcult. But the good thing is, my FFIL offered to cover my FH suit. Which is a life savor!

Sorry its a term we use for my medieval group. I do so much work for them I slip up. I ment Event. Sorry. Senior moment.
