I feel like there was a thread once before; but i can't find it-
Does anyone mind sharing what they do for a living??
I work in accounting; have for the past 5 years; just not sure if this is job i see myself doing for the next 20 years!
I feel like i need so creativity & excitment; but i don't want to take a huge pay cut! I'm thinking about starting to look online for other potential careers (i know this is the worst time to think of a career change). Just wondering what everyone else does and if they like/love it?

i work for a title insurance company, we run the background on houses like when you buy or refinance a house the bank requires title.
ive been doing it since i was 19 and I hate it. I'm currently making less money then i was when i started. business is really ****** right now. But i guess i'm lucky to still be here.
ive been trying to find something new for a few months now but cant seem to find anything I want to do. Not that i have any clue what i want to do lol

I've worked in non-profit and have worked on a bunch of consumer brands - but might be getting into corporate/B2B PR type stuff

I am a scientist. I study a protein linked to heart attacks and strokes and what regulates it. I'll have my Ph.D. in TWO WEEKS!! Then I'll be moving to NC to do research and teach at UNC Chapel Hill.

I was doing broadway musical advertising up until this past fall...I left my job to work for myself (who posted the other day about hating bosses?! LOL). I'm an independent graphic designer. Hooray pajamas!

I'm an auditor and have been for almost 4 years. i'm ready to g t f o of here! i've learned a lot from this place but i definitely do not see myself doing this for much longer. i'm tireddddddddddd and need some sometimes

I’m a human resources and office administrator for an Architectural Firm in Chelsea. I’m working on my masters in organizational psych and eventually want to do consulting work in diversity or training and development.

I am dying to do something creative too but everything I am interested in means a serious paycut and starting from the bottom. If I were single again and living at home I'd totally do it.
I work for an engineering company that's rebuilding the WTC transit hub. I wanted to get involved in this project for that reason. But 3 years later of doing the same thing (document control) is really wearing on me.

I'm the Fulfillment Svcs Manager for a promotional marketing firm. basically, I make sure winners get their prizes. There's more to it but that's a basic overview. Enter to win an ipod and guess what? I make sure you get it. lol
I really want to go back to school to be an environmental engineer.

I work for the Nielsen Ratings Company. I am a Bilingual Help desk Support. I am on the phones all the long answering calls from people who participate in the program with us.
I am a Mistery Shopper too =) (SHHHHH!!)
PS: Is being in LIW a Job? if so, then That is my third job =)
ETA= Nop I dont love what I do... I Do love working in Customer Service BUT I hate doing over the phone... I want to see people face to face... I always wanted to be an ESL/Spanish Teacher. & I would like to work in the Airports, those ppl who check ur passports & tickets & i would like to be a waitress =)
