I recently found out that Hors d'œuvres is not said HORSE DE-VORES I have been walking around saying it since wedding planning started and I saw it on the menu selection! No one corrected me until FH recently asked me last month what 'horse de vores' were and then told me what it really said. Ive used the word before just never knew it was spelled like that I spell it how it sounds

Re: NWR: what is
ahh!!! That's so funny... I knew how that was pronounced but one time I was reading a menu out loud with my fiance and I wasn't paying attention and I pronounced it like that... and he still makes fun of me for that! You know when you are reading something out loud and you don't realize what you're saying?! awwww
